Singh Excavating BC Ltd. provides detailed excavation services to prepare the site for foundation as per the scope of work. All our machine operators are certified and have skills to execute the details that a project demands. We ensure that all diggings are done to the accurate dimensions according to architectural and engineering designs. We install and monitor Soil Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) measures so that environmental regulations are met. 

We install rock pits or an infiltration trench where there are no storm connections available or as per municipal guidelines. For the seamless experience for our clients where rock pits are required, we proactively coordinate with the rock pit design engineer to ensure that the rock pit meets the standards. It is a regular practice at Singh Excavating BC Ltd., to recommend solutions which can save time and money for our clients.

When the municipality main lines are shallow and gravity flow is not feasible for storm and/or sanitary, we install sumps for pumps. These sumps are properly stacked, grouted and sealed for long-term viability of the property according to the City and engineer’s requirements.

We also specialize in the installation of retaining walls needed for landscaping or other purposes to retain the soil behind it. As part of the construction of the retaining wall, we prepare the site and lay the lock blocks in place. In addition, we do lot and land gradings for all types of residential and commercial jobs.

When complex projects require blasting, rock splitting, shoring or soil remediation, we collaborate with expert sub-trades to make sure earthworks are completed to satisfaction. 

Our large excavators can handle any size of commercial and residential excavations while our mini excavation equipment can maneuver around smaller and harder to reach areas. 

As with excavation, backfill is done after careful analysis of the building, landscaping and grading specifications, contract requirements and soil conditions. Any new building or structure requires a solid base. Singh Excavating BC Ltd. realizes the importance of this process and is well-versed on how to effectively get the job done. Due to different soil characteristics, detailed attention and superior excavation techniques are essential for a safe and optimal backfill.

With a fleet of dump trucks on hand, we are readily available to haul the required materials (soil, sand, gravel, etc.) for the backfill. Having our own trucking fleet allows us to provide aggregate materials at extremely competitive rates, hence saving money for our clients.

The team at Singh Excavating BC Ltd. takes care of underneath infrastructure such as pipes and utility lines to prevent any sort of impact while backfilling. Once the backfill is complete, we ensure that surrounding area around the worksite are properly maintained.
